Abstract

The study revisits the extent to which accreditation procedures are implemented, examines the problems encountered during the accreditation process, and identifies the best practices that contribute to effective program accreditation. In addition, it explores how these elements influence the development of the quality assurance management culture within a higher education institution. Key components, including strategic leadership, management support, the attitudes and commitment of task force members, efficient records/file storage management, and effective communication, are all vital in shaping the shared culture model of the quality assurance management system. This model emphasizes a collegial, collaborative, and inclusive approach to management, where stakeholders work together toward a unified goal. It fosters a positive, forward-moving vision of learning that aligns with the institution's growth and development objectives. Such a culture encourages continuous improvement, collective responsibility, and engagement in accreditation processes, ultimately contributing to the long-term success of the institution’s educational programs. The study aims to provide insights on how these factors interact to build a robust, sustainable quality assurance management framework that supports the overall mission and vision of the institution.
