Interdisciplinary articulations to think geographic experiences of bisexualy(ies) in urban space

The objective of this article is to produce an articulation between the themes of bisexuality(ies), from the queer perspective, to geographic experiences in urban spaces, based on the contributions of Angelo Serpa (2023). The research is qualitative and phenomenological, understood as bibliographic and has an exploratory purpose. There is a process of invisibilization and delegitimization in the experiences of bisexual people, both inside and outside the LGBTQIAPN+ community. There is also an obliteration within the scientific community, conferring the theoretical relevance of the study. Bisexuality(ies) describe experiences of non-monosexuality, composing singular and autonomous experiences, being biphobia the violence faced. Exclusion, as a psychosocial phenomenon, is analyzed through Sawaia's (2001) concept of ethical-political suffering. The city is made up of different spaces and places articulating debates about power, affections, symbolisms, segregations and representations, therefore, causing specific effects on non-heterosexual bodies. The heterosexual norm affects relationships, modifying the constructions of subjectivities, influencing perceptions about oneself and one's desires. The geographic experiences of bisexual people in urban spaces need to be analyzed in an intersectional way, due to the overlapping vectors of oppression that intersect and complicate the debate.
