Organizational culture of Colegio ng Lungsod ng Batangas: npiut to institutional policies

Resumen

Este estudio tuvo como objetivo identificar la cultura organizacional actual en el Colegio ng Lungsod ng Batangas para que se puedan desarrollar políticas institucionales congruentes. Utilizando el Instrumento de Evaluación de la Cultura Organizacional (OCAI) de Cameron y Quinn (2011), se determinó la cultura dominante. El estudio adoptó un diseño descriptivo con una muestra estadística de 55 empleados del Colegio. Se encontró que la cultura dominante de la institución es la Cultura del Clan que se caracteriza por la flexibilidad de valores y el control interno. Es una cultura centrada en los empleados impulsada por la colaboración, el apoyo y la confianza. La cultura Adhocracia es la cultura menos manifestada, que se caracteriza por la innovación, la adaptabilidad y la flexibilidad. El estudio no encontró diferencias significativas en las variables del perfil con Jerarquía y Cultura de Mercado. Por el contrario, se encontró que la cultura del clan y la cultura adhocracia eran significativamente diferentes en términos de género y edad, respectivamente. Los hallazgos y recomendaciones de este estudio pueden usarse como base al revisar las políticas institucionales de la universidad.
