Programa de Compromiso, Conciencia, Restauración y Participación (CARE) de la Facultad de Educación de la Universidad de Bicol

Este estudio tuvo como objetivo realizar una prueba piloto del Programa CARE (Compromiso-Conciencia-Restauración-Participación) y las Herramientas de Bienestar Holístico para el personal docente y no docente de la Facultad de Educación de la Universidad de Bicol (BUCE), recopilar la retroalimentación de los participantes y diseñar un formato final para el Programa de Bienestar Holístico CARE y las Herramientas de Autocuidado. El programa incorporó un seminario web y estrategias de autocuidado basadas en la evidencia para mejorar el bienestar y el desempeño profesional del profesorado y el personal. Una prueba piloto que involucró a 21 participantes utilizó un enfoque de métodos mixtos, que incluyó un diario de autocuidado, evaluaciones del programa y recopilación de retroalimentación. Los hallazgos indicaron un cambio positivo en la cultura organizacional de BUCE, caracterizado por una mejor comunicación, colaboración y apoyo mutuo entre el personal. El análisis cuantitativo de la evaluación del seminario web del programa CARE obtuvo una puntuación media de 4,85, lo que significa que el seminario fue altamente efectivo. El programa demostró (1) mayor conciencia de las actividades de bienestar y las prácticas de autocuidado; (2) mayor satisfacción laboral; (3) usabilidad y accesibilidad de las herramientas de autocuidado; y (4) identificación de preferencias individualizadas de autocuidado. Se identificaron cinco prácticas clave de autocuidado: 1) dormir lo suficiente, 2) hacer ejercicio regularmente, 3) dedicar tiempo a la relajación, 4) sentirse renovado al despertar y 5) participar en actividades para reducir el estrés. Los datos de la herramienta estandarizada de autocuidado revelaron que los participantes requirieron una intervención significativa en su bienestar físico, mientras que se necesitó una intervención moderada en su bienestar mental, emocional, espiritual, profesional y social. El estudio culminó con el desarrollo de un "Diario de Bienestar Personalizado", alineado con el Programa CARE. Los resultados subrayan la importancia de priorizar el bienestar de los empleados para fomentar un entorno laboral propicio que propicie el crecimiento personal y profesional. Se recomienda promover actividades de bienestar presenciales, establecer centros de bienestar y utilizar diarios de autocuidado personalizados para fomentar hábitos saludables sostenidos. Se recomienda adaptar los diarios de bienestar a las necesidades específicas de cada institución educativa para lograr la máxima eficacia.
