Uma avaliação dos módulos sobre leituras na história filipina: insumos para aprimorar os módulos

Resumo

A aprendizagem modular tem sido uma das modalidades recorredas devido às restrições impostas pela pandemia de COVID-19. A maioria dos educadores, incluindo o pessoal acadêmico da Quezon City University, foi compelida a redesenhar os currículos dos cursos e desenvolver materiais instrucionais, como a redação de módulos adequados para o ensino à distância. Este estudo avaliou o módulo atualmente utilizado no curso Readings in Philippine History (RIPH) e forneceu insumos para o aprimoramento do módulo. Um método descritivo foi empregado para coletar dados de cento e noventa e sete (197) alunos e nove (9) membros do corpo docente. A avaliação do corpo docente e dos alunos mostrou satisfação com o módulo, mas o feedback revelou algumas lacunas e deficiências nos módulos, principalmente no conteúdo. A validação de várias ferramentas de aprendizagem, como módulos, também deve ser enfatizada para garantir a qualidade do material educacional que está sendo fornecido. A inclusão do desempenho acadêmico do aluno mede a eficácia do aprendizado, necessitando de rubricas validadas para avaliar os resultados dos alunos por meio da utilização do módulo. Assim, as melhorias sugeridas podem fornecer direções futuras para os materiais instrucionais, bem como para professores e alunos atingirem o objetivo principal, mesmo em um ambiente de aprendizagem flexível.
