The research resulted in 11 articles, which started to be published from 2010 and that sought contribute to the implementation and dissemination of a new health promotion proposal. The health promotion activities were diverse, to mention, the development of health education actions and specific actions such as physical activity practices, demystifying the rehabilitation perspective linked to the physiotherapist that generates high costs for health services, these actions dialogue with the precepts of the National Health Promotion Policy. The performance of physiotherapy in the perspective of health promotion has been showing good results, especially after the implementation of the Extended Family Health Center, however, there is still little recognition by the population regarding the importance of this professional in Primary Care, as well as the publication of few studies in the scope of physiotherapy that address the performance of these professionals as health promoters.
