Tratamento da úlcera venosa com bota de Unna associado a escleroterapia com microespuma: relato de caso

ABSTRACT: Introduction: Venous insufficiency (IV) is a condition in which the venous return presents itself as a result of inadequate venous valves generating venous stasis. Objective: report on the healing process of venous ulcers using an inelastic compressive therapy Bota de Unna associated with sclerotherapy. Materials and methods: It is a case report, of an applied nature, with explanatory descriptive objectives and with a qualitative approach. Held in a non-profit program of agreste de alagoas from October 2019 to February 2020. Results and Discussion: User was included in the ulcer program in the inflammatory phase with irregular, superficial edges, imbricated granulation tissue in necrotic tissue, location close to the malleolus or distal portion of the left lower limb, presence of ocher dermatitis, and hyperemia, pain, edema and loss of function, after treatment with the unna boot associated with sclerotherapy there was complete healing of the lesion after five months. The unna boot shows positive results with regard to healing rates, functional capacity, improved self-esteem and quality of life, whereas sclerotherapy with foam is a less expensive treatment and has better benefits for patients because it is minimally invasive, when compared to surgical procedures. Conclusion: the treatment used revealed satisfactory results in the healing of the ulcer in a shorter period when compared to a single or other knowledge.
