ABSTRACT: This is an integrative literature review whose objective was to review the main pedagogical games used in teaching natural sciences in elementary school and whether these are effective in learning. This review consisted of a synthesis of studies already published in journals from 2010 to 2020. The following databases were searched: Capes journals, Educational Resources Information (ERIC) and academic Google. 15 studies that contemplated the research objective were reviewed. The authors agree on the importance of using educational games as a didactic resource in teaching this curricular component. It is concluded that pedagogical games are an excellent complementary and alternative tool for teaching nature sciences in elementary school, since they provide the ease of the teaching-learning process, also enabling a better teacher-student interaction.
