The work has a qualitative methodological perspective, based on bibliographic research and reports of action research experiences during the internship, bringing elements of the field diary during the experiences at the day care center. The results achieved were perceptible in the changes that could occur in the pedagogical practice of the Pedagogy student, who with all the experiences during the internship broke prejudices that he himself had of himself in relation to the male presence in the day care center, which made possible a new look at the Early Childhood Education, extolling the importance of the internship for their teacher training.
