Exploring the De Rama Jewelry-making culture formed the cornerstone for devising a culture-based teaching model. A qualitative case study design was used in the study, interviewing the only goldsmith engaging the De Rama jewelry making and the museum curator of Duis Bohol as research participants using purposive sampling. Employing observation, artisan interviews, and photography, this thorough study resulted in the conception of the Contextualized De Rama Unified Model of Teaching (CDRUMT) to drive holistic learning development. The establishment of CDRUMT facilitates the advancement of culture-based education, advocating for a pragmatic approach to localizing and contextualizing the teaching and learning process for the comprehensive development of the learners. This innovation benefits the teachers to be more creative in their teaching, making the learners appreciate learning and develop a better version of themselves. The school heads support using culture-based teaching among their teachers to recognize their learners' cultural identity amid a volatile, uncertain, complex, and ambiguous (VUCA) world, making quality education possible under SDG4.
