Despertando la cultura joyera De Rama en Dauis, Bohol, Filipinas: Su exploración de un modelo de enseñanza unificado De Rama contextualizado

Resumen

La exploración de la cultura de la joyería De Rama sentó las bases para el desarrollo de un modelo de enseñanza basado en la cultura. Se utilizó un estudio de caso cualitativo, entrevistando al único orfebre involucrado en la joyería De Rama y al curador del museo, Duis Bohol, como participantes de la investigación, mediante muestreo intencional. Mediante la observación, entrevistas con artesanos y fotografía, este estudio en profundidad dio como resultado el desarrollo del Modelo de Enseñanza Unificado Contextualizado De Rama (CDRUMT) para fomentar el desarrollo del aprendizaje holístico. La creación del CDRUMT facilita el avance de la educación basada en la cultura al promover un enfoque pragmático para localizar y contextualizar el proceso de enseñanza y aprendizaje para el desarrollo holístico de los estudiantes. Esta innovación beneficia a los docentes al potenciar su creatividad en la enseñanza, permitiendo a los estudiantes disfrutar del aprendizaje y desarrollarse plenamente. Los directores de las escuelas apoyan el uso de la enseñanza basada en la cultura entre sus docentes para reconocer la identidad cultural de sus estudiantes en un mundo volátil, incierto, complejo y ambiguo (VUCA), haciendo posible una educación de calidad en el marco del ODS 4.
