Construindo sensibilização ambiental com alunos do ensino fundamental em zona de alta produção agrícola

ABSTRACT: Actions involving change of attitude in the context of environmental issues, it is a challenge to be applied in school environments. This research sought through a project, in partnership with Clube Amigos da Terra - CAT, to promote the process of awareness and environmental awareness, of elementary school students, about the correct destination of waste, their reuse and other applications, such as ways to preserve and protect the environment. The research was carried out in a municipal school in the urban area of the town of Sorriso, Mato Grosso. The methodology based on the explanatory / qualitative method was done in phases that included a) presentation of the project, b) lecture, c) application of the project "learning to recycle". In the final phase, the students could be inserted in the knowledge about the daily residues, collection and separation, composting and school vegetable garden. The students had a process of sustainable growth throughout the realization of the project, denoting the importance of the applicability of extra classroom activities, in the formation of concepts of Environmental Education. In general, the realization of the project allowed the process of environmental awareness of those involved, which makes them multipliers of the actions lived, denoting the importance of Environmental Education, in the transformation of new generations, to the applicability of sustainability.
