Revisão integrativa sobre o conhecimento de idosos em relação a Síndrome da Imunodeficiência Adquirida (SIDA)

ABSTRACT: In Brazil, there is a trend towards increasing population growth, where this scenario causes problems of great relevance for the elderly, such as the sexuality present in this audience and which has not been or deserved recognition by formal health care providers. In this way, this situation has been registered in serious problems, the main one being knowledge gaps in relation to STI / AIDS. Therefore, this study aimed to identify the literature on the knowledge of the elderly in relation to the Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome (AIDS). In the present work, an integrative literature review, six articles from the last years (2014 to 2019) that use the QHIV3I questionnaire in their research were selected. Thus, from the analysis of the studies used if the sociodemographic profile composed in mostly by women, with low education and low income, about whom it was possible to exhibit a significant number of errors in the domains of HIV transmission and concept, making it possible from this reality that there is knowledge on the part of some members. in relation to AIDS, they are still presented as incipient and fragmented.
