Multiliteracy Enhancement Amid Pandemic:

A Comprehensive Study on Pre-Service Science Teachers' Integration of Computer-Based Technologies

Resumen

La pandemia en curso ha transformado significativamente el panorama educativo, lo que requiere el diseño de planes de estudios que integren a la perfección tecnologías y pedagogías innovadoras para apoyar a los estudiantes en un mundo multimodal. En consecuencia, los programas de formación docente deben priorizar el desarrollo de competencias pedagógicas y tecnológicas de los nuevos educadores. Esta investigación exploró la utilización de tecnología basada en computadora (TCC) por maestros en formación durante la instrucción en el aula y su integración para promover la alfabetización múltiple en la educación científica. El estudio conectó las aplicaciones de la TCC con la teoría de las inteligencias múltiples de Gardner y empleó el marco de la pedagogía de la alfabetización múltiple para analizar la tecnología utilizada, siguiendo el modelo de instrucción de las 7Es. Empleando metodologías de investigación y observación de estudios de casos, el estudio evaluó las demostraciones de los futuros profesores de ciencias. Los hallazgos revelaron que los futuros profesores de ciencias incorporaron CBT en su instrucción, abordando varias inteligencias. Los ejemplos de CBT incluyeron pizarras digitales interactivas, laboratorios virtuales, sitios web para compartir videos, software de presentación y plataformas de cuestionarios en línea. Aunque estas herramientas se adaptaron a estudiantes diversos, la integración de las TCC en enfoques contextualizados y localizados siguió siendo limitada. En consecuencia, los resultados resaltan la necesidad de estrategias sistemáticas que permitan a los maestros en formación incorporar efectivamente las CBT en diversas experiencias de aprendizaje. Dichos enfoques facilitan una transición fluida de la capacitación a la práctica profesional y promueven el uso constante de la tecnología en todos los niveles educativos.
