Situational Analysis on residents of MIMAROPA Youth Center: A Basis for Program Proposal

Este estudio se centró en analizar la situación y las experiencias de los residentes del Centro Juvenil MIMAROPA, Población, Bansud, Mindoro Oriental y el estado de los programas, servicios e instalaciones. Su objetivo era comprender los efectos significativos de las intervenciones gubernamentales en el proceso de rehabilitación de niños en conflicto con la ley utilizando un diseño fenomenológico de investigación cualitativa. Los encuestados del estudio fueron cinco residentes y seis informantes del personal de MYC, seleccionados intencionalmente. Este estudio utilizó la técnica de fotovoz, entrevista, observación y análisis de documentos para recopilar la información necesaria. Utilizando el diseño, fue capaz de describir las experiencias vividas por los residentes en MYC, su situación y los efectos de los programas y servicios en la rehabilitación de los residentes. Se descubrió que, si bien los programas y servicios son adecuados, todavía existen lagunas en su implementación, lo que genera aburrimiento, ansiedad y estrés en los residentes. El estudio también encontró que los programas y servicios que ofrece el MYC son beneficiosos y efectivos para sus residentes, ya que les ayudaron a desarrollarse desde niños y los prepararon para su reintegración.
