Household awareness, acceptance, and willingness to pay for renewable energy

El propósito de este estudio fue determinar el nivel de conciencia, aceptación y disposición de los hogares a pagar por la energía renovable. Es una investigación cuantitativa la que determina la diferencia significativa específicamente en la cantidad de disposición a pagar por energías renovables cuando se analiza según el perfil; la relación significativa precisamente entre el nivel de conciencia y la disposición a pagar; y la relación significativa, particularmente entre el nivel de aceptación de la tecnología y la disposición a pagar. Las variables independientes del estudio son el nivel de conciencia y el modelo de aceptación de la tecnología. La variable dependiente es la disposición a pagar. La variable mediadora es el perfil de los encuestados. Se contactó a los encuestados a través de plataformas en línea para la recopilación de datos y se les entregó un cuestionario de encuesta en línea. Una vez que terminaron con la sección de perfil, buscaron responder preguntas previas a su nivel de conocimiento, método de aceptación de la tecnología y disposición a pagar. A continuación, los resultados se analizaron estadísticamente mediante regresión logística y ANOVA bidireccional. Después de ejecutar los datos, se interpretan para determinar la diferencia y relación significativas. Luego, los investigadores determinaron que existe una diferencia significativa en la cantidad de disposición a pagar por energía renovable cuando se analiza según el perfil; una relación significativa entre el nivel de conciencia y la disposición a pagar; y una relación significativa entre el nivel del método de aceptación de la tecnología, específicamente la utilidad percibida, y la disposición a pagar.
