Componentes del rendimiento y análisis nutricional de la berenjena (Solanum melongena L.) bajo diferentes dosis de fertilizante de vermicompost

Este estudio se realizó en un campo agrícola en Balantay, Dimasalang, Masbate, Filipinas, para evaluar el desempeño de diferentes variedades de berenjena con distintos niveles de fertilizantes de vermicompost. Las diferentes variedades se dispusieron en la parcela, mientras que los niveles de vermicompost aplicados se establecieron en la subparcela utilizando un diseño factorial de dos factores en un diseño de bloques completos aleatorizados (DBCA). Se evaluaron parámetros de crecimiento como el número de días hasta la floración y la altura de la planta en la madurez. También se recopiló el rendimiento de la fruta y otros parámetros como el rendimiento por tratamiento en kg, el número de frutos comercializables, el número de frutos no comercializables, el rendimiento por hectárea y el análisis químico del valor nutricional de los frutos de berenjena. Con base en los resultados del estudio, los parámetros de crecimiento y el desempeño del rendimiento, particularmente en el número de días hasta la floración, la altura de la planta en cm en el período de madurez, el rendimiento por tratamiento en kilogramos, el número de frutos comercializables, el número de frutos no comercializables y el rendimiento en toneladas se vieron afectados significativamente por los diferentes niveles de aplicación de vermicompost. Sin embargo, no se observó un resultado significativo entre las diferentes variedades de berenjena. En el análisis nutricional, se observó que la aplicación de mayores dosis de vermicompost (10 toneladas/ha) resultó en un mayor contenido de calcio, magnesio y sodio. En vista de estos hallazgos, se recomienda aplicar vermicompost a razón de 10 toneladas/ha como sustituto del fertilizante sintético en el cultivo de berenjena para obtener un mayor rendimiento de la fruta y una mayor rentabilidad para la explotación.
