Simbolismos de las velas en la danza Sinulog en relación con la exploración del modelo Kahayag de enseñanza reflexiva

Resumen

Comprender el simbolismo de las velas en la danza Sinulog es esencial para las prácticas devocionales de los cristianos católicos. El estudio describió el simbolismo de las velas en la danza Sinulog, exploró cómo continuó esta tradición y examinó los posibles conflictos con la comercialización y la conservación del patrimonio cultural. El estudio empleó un diseño descriptivo cualitativo. Se seleccionaron diez participantes clave de la investigación, que consistían en cinco magsisinug y cinco devotos, a través de un muestreo de conveniencia. El estudio destacó los atributos socioeconómicos y culturales de Sinug que reflejan la importancia de las velas en la devoción católica, la importancia de la danza Sinug en Cebú y la preservación del patrimonio cultural frente a la modernización y la comercialización. Las velas tienen una larga historia de uso en ceremonias y festivales religiosos como símbolo de luz y esperanza, y su encendido es una práctica común en acción de gracias y oración, y como signo de devoción al Señor Santo Niño. La danza Sinug, que incorpora el uso de velas, es una danza tradicional en Cebú y sirve como símbolo de identidad cultural y religiosa. Con base en los hallazgos, el Modelo Kahayag de Enseñanza Reflexiva (KMRT) extrapolado del estilo de vida y las prácticas de los mansisinug y los devotos de la Basílica Minore del Santo Niño. KMRT es un enfoque relevante para la enseñanza en el siglo XXI que alienta a los estudiantes a participar en reflexiones personales, entre pares y colaborativas, promoviendo una cultura de aprendizaje y mejora continuos.
