Análisis de la personalidad como indicador de carrera profesional en establecimientos gastronómicos seleccionados de la ciudad de Balanga: una evaluación de la empleabilidad

Resumen

Este estudio de investigación destaca la importancia de los rasgos de personalidad para brindar un servicio de alta calidad y garantizar la satisfacción del cliente. El éxito profesional, el desempeño laboral y la armonía en el lugar de trabajo dependen de la compatibilidad de personalidades. La investigación analiza los tipos de personalidad del personal de cocina y cafetería en restaurantes informales de la ciudad de Balanga, Bataan, un importante centro comercial y turístico. El estudio utilizó estadística descriptiva y análisis de correlación de Pearson para entrevistar a 100 empleados y 10 gerentes de reclutamiento, utilizando el Indicador de Tipo Myers-Briggs (MBTI). Los resultados mostraron una correlación insignificante entre el género y los atributos de personalidad, sin diferencias significativas entre los participantes. El estudio recomienda que los gerentes consideren las diferencias de personalidad del MBTI al asignar tareas para optimizar la adecuación al puesto y el desempeño. Además, los programas de capacitación deben mejorar la comunicación y la cooperación. Los resultados refuerzan la necesidad de planes de intervención para eliminar las brechas de empleabilidad y asegurar que las características de los empleados y los requisitos del puesto estén alineados en el sector de restaurantes informales de la ciudad de Balanga.
