ABSTRACT: The phytosociological possibility of plant identification. The objective was estimate invasive plants of pasture of Urochloa brizantha cv. Marandu. The study was conducted at Universety Federal of Paraíba in pasture of Urochloa brizantha cv. Marandu being deployed in 2009 to area study with rotated grazing, totalizing 28 grazing system. Was utilizad 400 linear meter divided in 100 meter, getting four random repetitions in the pasture. Was utilizad a square with 1.0 x 0.5 m totalizing 0.5 m², by samples. The samples was select with intervals of 5, 10, 20 and 50 meter, containing 21 points, eleven points, six points, and three points in 100 m, sequentially, marking from 0 meter. Were analyzed insede of sample square the invasive plant quantity and pasture height with tape measures. If was determined mean, standard deviation and coeficiente of variance of the collected data and performed statistical analysis in the software BioEstat 5.0, being analyzes the normality and correlation between variables. There was no difference the invasive number and pasture height abaut transect spacing. The invasive quantity about transect spacing was observed that increasing the transect spacing the invasive quantity is smaller. With increasing pasture height the invasive quantity decreased, it is inversely proportional, concluding that Marandu grass is competitive.
