As diversas faces da Economia Solidária: entraves e desafios para manutenção de sua gênese

Abstract

The current research aimed to understand the obstacles and challenges for maintaining the genesis of the Solidarity-Based Economy. Thus, a bibliographic review and subsequent analysis were carried out to characterize the scenario faced by the enterprises, as well as, the factors and motivations that allow its members to sustain them despite the difficulties. The obstacles vary according to the few factors, such as consumer awareness, competition, lack of income generation, poor infrastructure, professional qualification and scare technological resources. The Solidarity-Based Economy works through horizontal decisions that assume a long time for a determination to be democratically resolved. Hence, it is worth noting that management barriers arise to its genesis. Therefore, the present debate is necessary so that this possible model of social and economic organization is resisted in the face of neoliberalism.
