ABSTRACT: Mathematics in elementary school provides a whole foundation of knowledge that the student will need to expand more abstract contexts, establishing competencies and skills necessary to reason and think mathematically. Mathematical games have been an essential tool to minimize these distortions between theory and practice in learning mathematics. This study, carried out in 2019, aimed to present a memory game formed by Pythagorean suits, belonging to a kit of mathematical games produced by the research group GALC - Geometry, Algebra, Combinatory and Logic. Methodologically, the proposal aims to propose this game as an alternative in educational practice in the teaching and learning process of mathematics in basic education. The use of new methodologies for the act of learning and teaching mathematics has strengthened the student's creativity in basic education, stimulating teachers to realign all their pedagogical practice in favor of a more motivating and current mathematics teaching.
