The present work aims to analyze the importance of the contents of Geomorphology presented in the textbook of Sene and Moreira (2018) "General Geography of Brazil", curricular component of the 6th year of Elementary School. It is a qualitative research in which the methodology was based on the survey of the contents of Geomorphology foreseen in that book, followed by the analysis of its relationship with the daily life of the city. Twenty-four (24) geomorphological contents were identified, it seems that the author in some terms is linked to the daily lives of cities, while in others he does not mention such a relationship, a relationship that is fundamental if we consider the urban context, both for planning and for planning. The planning. The planning. The critical sense of society. It is recommended that these contents of the analyzed textbook establish in their approaches a greater relationship with the lived space of the students, in order to enable an effective teaching instigating them to think critically about the geographical space.
