Diseño y Desarrollo de un Gestor de Evaluación de Lectura

Un resultado alarmante del Programa para la Evaluación Internacional de Alumnos (PISA) de 2018 reveló que Filipinas ocupó el puesto más bajo entre los otros 79 países que participaron en la evaluación. Esto empujó al Departamento de Educación a crear programas de refuerzo de lectura, los cuales lamentablemente fueron archivados cuando se cancelaron las clases presenciales debido a la pandemia de COVID-19. Por lo tanto, los investigadores crearon el Administrador de Evaluación de Lectura (RAM) para la continuidad de los programas de lectura, como la evaluación de los niveles de lectura de los alumnos, incluso durante el aprendizaje remoto. En este estudio, RAM se creó para evaluar virtualmente los niveles de lectura de los alumnos, recomendar materiales de lectura de nivel adecuado y almacenar datos en cuentas individualizadas. Siguiendo el Diseño de Investigación de Desarrollo Tipo II, RAM se diseñó y desarrolló utilizando una serie de evaluaciones de necesidades, creación de prototipos y satisfacción del usuario del sistema. Los resultados de la Escala de usabilidad del sistema (SUS) administrada mostraron que la RAM superó entre el 90% y el 95% de los sistemas de software de la industria, mientras que el Cuestionario de usabilidad posterior al estudio (PSSUQ) informó una satisfacción del usuario superior al promedio por parte de los encuestados.
