Valoración y adopción de la publicación electrónica por parte de las instituciones de educación superior en Macao, China

Resumen

La rápida digitalización de la comunicación académica ha transformado globalmente el panorama de la publicación académica. A través de una investigación descriptiva, este estudio exploró la apreciación y adopción de estrategias de publicación electrónica dentro de las instituciones de educación superior en Macao, China. Su objetivo era establecer un marco para estrategias de publicación electrónica efectivas en la gestión educativa para mejorar las metodologías de enseñanza, la participación de los estudiantes y los resultados de aprendizaje. Los objetivos de la investigación incluyeron la elaboración de perfiles de las instituciones de educación superior en función de las cifras de matriculación, las modalidades de enseñanza, los tipos institucionales y las instalaciones de aprendizaje. Además, evaluó el nivel de apreciación de los administradores, profesores y estudiantes con respecto a los materiales de aprendizaje publicados electrónicamente en términos de calidad, contenido, accesibilidad y rentabilidad. Se realizaron análisis comparativos para discernir las diferencias en las evaluaciones entre los tres grupos de encuestados. Además, el estudio examinó la relación entre los perfiles institucionales y el nivel de apreciación de la publicación electrónica. También evaluó el grado de adopción de la publicación electrónica en la gestión académica, la administración, la accesibilidad de los recursos y los resultados de aprendizaje. El nivel de adopción de materiales de aprendizaje publicados electrónicamente es moderado en términos de gestión académica, administración y resultados de aprendizaje, según la evaluación de los administradores, los profesores y los estudiantes. En última instancia, los hallazgos dieron lugar al desarrollo de un plan estratégico para promover la integración efectiva de la publicación electrónica en las instituciones de educación superior en Macao, China.
