Abstract

ABSTRACT: Tourism is the second most important activity in the economy of Alagoas. In addition, Alagoas tourism is diverse in nature and attractions. This article aims to do a literature review with a view to placing a magnifying glass in the discussion on tourism and environmental impact in Extractive Reserves (Resex), which are Conservation Units for sustainable use and whose main beneficiaries are the local community. We used bibliographic research to problematize the relationship between environmental impacts and tourism, which validated this close relationship. Still as notes, it was observed in the studied Resex that all the offer and demand of tourist activity in the region are based on the use of natural resources: beaches, rivers and natural pools, the main attractions worked by tourism. Thus, the impacts of tourism are characterized by being mainly related to the economy. This work is part of a research with authorization at SISBIO nº. 69227-1.
