ABSTRACT: The intense urbanization of cities accelerated the consumption of natural resources and this unbridled exploitation was largely responsible for the extinction of urban green areas. In view of this reality, parks have become great allies to strengthen ties and enhance the importance of preserving the environment, which in addition to leisure play important ecosystem services that directly impact the quality of life of the population. Thus, this article aimed to evaluate and reflect on experiences that raised the question of the willingness to pay admission to urban parks (DAP) by its regulars. As a methodological tool, a systematic literature review was used. A search for scientific articles was carried out on the CAPES Periodical Portal, which resulted in sixty papers found. The following inclusion criteria were used: articles of empirical theoretical knowledge written in Portuguese. After screening, six articles were selected, which were used for review. The analysis of the experiences showed that the majority of the interviewees are willing to pay for the use of the parks, with values that vary between R $ 0.50 and R $ 15.80. Some factors, such as income and education, were determinant for the availability of payment. Despite the distrust of effective value management by public agencies, park users have demonstrated a sense of belonging and interest in the preservation and conservation of parks.
