Distúrbios osteomusculares em músicos: revisão de literatura

ABSTRACT: Issues related to the organization and psychosocial factors of work have been intensely studied in recent years due to the advent of new technologies and production systems, and mainly because they are responsible for occupational health disorders. This theme is the focus of discussion and research object of various professional categories. For a long time studies on occupational disorders had as their objective to analyze the activities performed by office workers and industries, however, there is an increasing interest for other professions, such as musicians. Objectives: to highlight the behavior of musculoskeletal disorders in musicians, through a literature review. Methodology: The study was a "literature review" with the elaboration of a bibliographic survey in the databases such as Pubmed and Scielo, was not delimited the date of publication and the bibliographic number to be searched. The inclusion criteria of the studies comprised materials from full texts in the languages: Portuguese, Spanish and English, which addressed musculoskeletal disorders in musicians. Results: The results were obtained by compiling 30 scientific works, from which they were read in full. Conclusion: Through the methodology employed it was possible to verify that musculoskeletal disorders is a very frequent problem among musicians and that it is necessary to develop new studies to implement the appropriate preventive measures. Regarding the number of articles related to the studied theme related to musicians, there are few studies published in the researched sources of information.
