Place-based post graduate education case analysis: Experiential learning at the work-place

Resumen

Esta investigación analizó tres (3) casos en el Instituto de Estudios Profesionales y de Graduado (IGPS) de la Universidad de Manila donde se realizó educación basada en el lugar (PBE) en el lugar de trabajo de estudiantes de posgrado a través del aprendizaje experiencial. Además, las experiencias reales de académicos ejecutivos que recibieron capacitación en el Asian Institute of Management (AIM) bajo el programa CHED-AIM “Programa de liderazgo académico global (GALP) para universidades y colegios locales” (LUC) compartieron sus experiencias para brindar información adicional. sobre el impacto de la educación basada en el lugar. Los resultados subrayan el impacto exitoso de PBE en la integración de principios, teorías, habilidades, marcos y metodologías aprendidas en los cursos del programa por parte de los estudiantes de posgrado y aplicadas en el lugar de trabajo. Se ha demostrado que la utilización del enfoque de aprendizaje PBE aumenta el rendimiento académico de los estudiantes en sus estudios de posgrado. Se formularon dos (2) modelos a partir de los resultados, ambos brindando evidencia de la utilización e implementación del propio aprendizaje de los estudiantes de posgrado en las experiencias de la vida real en el lugar de trabajo, en respuesta y en alineación con el Objetivo de Desarrollo Sostenible de las Naciones Unidas (UNSDG).
