The main objective of this article is to analyze the digital platforms Delivery Ecológico and Raiz do Sol, highlighting the challenges and innovations in Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) used in the commercialization of their products. Both platforms are located in Brazil’s Northeast region, specifically in the state of Alagoas. Questionnaires were administered, following the same model, to obtain comparative data. Delivery Ecológico was created to establish connections between production and consumption at local and regional levels but faces the challenge of having fewer than 30 monthly customers in its online sales. Raiz do Sol, on the other hand, was born out of concern for environmental sustainability and healthy eating, serves 30 to 50 consumers, and faces the primary challenge of synchronizing the supply and demand of food and products to be marketed on the platform. Both platforms market products derived from family farming. Additionally, they are financially viable, demonstrating good results in entering digital markets and intensifying the sale of products from family farming and cultural production in the region.
