Abstract

In the semi-arid region of Alagoas, there are difficulties for small producers to provide food for animal production, water scarcity is one of the challenges faced and causes significant damage. However, lack of conservation and lack of knowledge are factors that attribute to overheating and lack of rainfall. By combining these factors, there is a need to study and prove the importance of these tree species not only in maintaining natural ecosystems, but also in improving the quality of animal production. Through the micro cultivation method, the primary identification of the endophytes was carried out, according to the Anvisa Manual (2004) for the identification of filamentous fungiMorphological and microscopic aspects and sporulation patterns were observed. The fungi were isolated in sterile Petri dishes and, after purification, they were placed on slides with PDA agar blocks. After 3 days, the slides were removed for observation under an optical microscope. From this, the sporulation structures were consulted through bibliographic references such as atlases and manuals for the identification of the genus of endophytes, making it possible to identify the genera Aspergillus spp and Penicilum spp. Proving the importance of biological richness of tree species, as they have several biotechnological applications.
